2004 about a month after V day. 2010 is V day # 6 for us.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Past Valentine's celebrations have included: hot dog pjs, custom made pillow cases, lots of streamers, candy, kentucky fried chicken (random), dozens and dozens of roses, balloons, more candy, and an assortment of other love themed trinkets.

I am so glad we dated in high school. We got to do the silly things that kind of go away after you hit a certain age. We went to dances, met each other between my Chemistry class and his English Lit class and bought each other gifts like life time supplies of nerd ropes! Life time supplies of nerd ropes just aren't as appreciated when you are older.

The last 2 years we spent Valentine's day on the beach in Mexico. I wish we were there instead of here where snow is in the forecast.

But here or there, sunshine or snow, we are still a we. Plus Lola. Life is good.
