We've all heard parents say that their kids grew up way too fast. With the coming of a new baby comes dreams, goals and hopes for the future. But unfortunately, even the most well-intentioned parents get bogged down in the day-to-day and before they know it their babies are moving out and they are left wishing they could just have some more time to do all those things they had planned on doing as a family.
I have decided to start keeping a list of things I want to do with my family. I know I probably will not accomplish all of them but I will try. So, without further ado...
No. 1: Take Road Trips
Imagine the possibilities!
Some of my favorite memories growing up are camping on the beach with my Dad, sister and golden retriever Taco. I would love to buy an RV/camper/tent trailer and be able to just pick up and go anywhere. The lake, beach, forest, mountains, north, south, east, west... all accessible via camper. There are so many fabulous places to go and see right here in the US, and driving is such a great way to spend time together. Not to mention the possibility of stumbling upon places you might otherwise have missed by taking the usual airplane/hotel trip.
I am so excited about No. 1, I have already been looking at campers and road trip planners online.
Hey Chels, you want in on this one? I can just picture O-Jo and Riley girl roasting marshmallows, playing frisbee, and fighting over who is going to sleep where. It is going to be AWESOME.
